Unique experiences with hostels
 
Hostels provide budget-oriented, sociable accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dormitory and share a bathroom, lounge and sometimes a kitchen. 
 
Operating for three years, Tabalo hostel, located at an alley on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, Tabalo hostel has been well-known to backpackers. The hostel has 5 floors. Only the top floor has 4 rooms for families or couples. Each of other floors has 6 rooms.  Each room has 4 – 6 beds. Prices ranges from VND90,000 – VND170,000 for a bed/day depending on time. In peak time from the Lunar New Year to the end of summer, Tabalo hostel is always full. Guests have to book 1 – 2 weeks in advance. In low season, room occupation here is about 60%. “Our guests may be from some European countries. Many are from Asian countries like China, Korea, Hong Kong, etc.”, said Vu Duc Chung, co-founder of the hostel. 
 
Ccasa hostel (in Sao Bien Street) is a unique one where all the shipping containers have been turned into sleeping accommodations, some in suites and some filled with bunks. Ccasa was designed based on the idea of cabin beds on luxury train, with total 43 beds in 10 rooms. The hostel has open space with a lot of green trees for relaxing feeling.
 
Its owner is Ngo Tuan Anh, a 33-year-old architecture. The hostel’s style aims to guests who like free and specific space. So, guests of Ccasa hostel are often in the age of 18 – 32. They may be both Vietnamese or foreign. Ccasa hostel is also full in the peak time and 60% occupied in the low time.

Feeling real life by homestay
 
Homestay has been avaiable in Nha Trang over several years. S:house homestay is a well-known one on Internet. It’s full of guests even in low season. From a 3-floor house, its owner, named Ngo Thanh Duong, make rooms for guests. Guests here are considered as a member in this family. They eat together and talk about life. From then, guests can know information about the local life, destinations, etc. Guests can buy food and cook in the house. 
 
“Young people like hostels homestay when travelling to a place for strange experience and feeling about real local life”, said Ngo Lan Phuong, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City.
