From 17 to 24, September, the leadership of the provincial Department of Tourism and 4 businesses in the province took park in the delegation of Vietnam Tourism Administration to promote the destination in Japan. The delegation joined a conference to introduce about Vietnam’s tourism, including Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism. At the conference, representatives of 120 big Japanese tourism businesses were given information about Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa along with tourist products of the destination. At Japan international tourism fair, tourism publication about Nha Trang – Khanh was offered to travel companies taking Japanese tourists to Vietnam in Tokyo. The delegation also had a meeting with two big Japanese travel companies HIS and APEX to discuss about taking Japanese tourists to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa.
According to the leadership of the provincial Department of Tourism, the trip has helped people who work in tourism in Khanh Hoa Province know more about taste and potentials of Japanese tourists to set up suitable services. In addition, by this trip, week points in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism marketing to Japanese market have been discovered and will be made better.

According to Takahashi Ayumi, director of Japan Tourism Organization, a key factor to draw Japanese tourists to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is direct flights from Khanh Hoa to cities of Japan. Then, Japanese travel companies will sell tours to Nha Trang for Japanese tourists well.
About this matter, when terminal No. 2 and runway No. 2 of Cam Ranh International Airport are finished, they will facilitate more international air routes. The province’s authority also has worked with Vietnam Airlines about opening air routes to Japan’s cities then.
