From the 2nd day of the lunar new year (February 17), the number of visitors to Binh Ba Island has risen sharply, especially on weekends. On average, 1,000 visit the island a day, including 500 staying overnight. At present, on the island there are 28 hotels with more than 300 rooms, and hundreds of guest houses, homestay houses, restaurants and entertainment services.

According to Nguyen Huu Thong, vice-chairman of Cam Binh Commune People’s Committee, despite the sharp rise in visitors, prices are kept stable, order and security on the island are also kept. The number of visitors to Binh Ba Island may keep rising till the end of next week.
