Khanh Hoa Province has launched Decision to ratify a plan to check and protect tourism resources associated with protect environment and cope with climate change.
Accordingly, by 2020 and 2030, organizations and individuals managing and exploiting tourism (tourist detinations, monuments and accomodations) have to implement requirements on environmental protection.
The main contents of the plan are informing regulations on environment protection to travel companies, accomodations, tourist destinations, festival organizers, monument management boards, etc. in the province, and supervise garbage from tourism activities to prevent risks of pollution. Besides, training about environmental protection for individuals and organizations in tourism, inspections on regulation implementation, etc. will be done.
