During the National Day holiday from Septemer 1 to September 3, tourist destinations in Nha Trang received a large number of visitors, especially islands and well-known tourist destinations like Ponagar Temple, Vinpearl Nha Trang, Hon Tam, I-Resort, etc. The peak day was September 2.
According to Nguyen Ngoc Khoa, manager of Cau Da Wharf, in three days of the holiday, about 12,500 tourists take island tours in the south of Nha Trang Bay. September 2 was the peak day with 5,100 tourists. The wharf board manager and the forces concerned jointly supervised boats and direct them to keep order.
Hoa Lan Stream island and Monkey island also received a lot of visitors. Le Dung Lam, director of Long Phu Tourist Company, revealed that the two islands welcomed over 4,000 visitors in the three-day holiday, a 10% increase year-on-year.

According to the statistics by the provincial Department of Tourism, during three days of the National Day holiday from September 1 to 3, Khanh Hoa Province welcomed 44,800 tourists (increasing by 15% year-on-year), including local tourists (3% up), and 19,200 international ones (32%). Room occupation was 80%. Tourism turnover was about VND95.6 billion, rising by 27.3% year-on-year. Despite the large number of visitors, no traffic jam occurred thanks to good direction of the police. The Tourist Support Center on Tran Phu Street helped some foreign tourists. No negative complaints were received.
