In the trip to promote tourism in Nha Trang, leadership and tourism businesses from Ninh Binh Province surveyed some tourist products of Nha Trang like four-island tour, mud bath, Vinpearl, etc. These are initial activities to connect tourism between the two provinces.
According to Bui Thanh Dong, director of Ninh Binh Province Department of Tourism, Ninh Binh Province has changed economic tendency, attaching importance to tourism. In the recent time, Ninh Binh tourism has rapid development. The province now has more than 6,000 rooms. In 2017, Ninh Binh received more than 7 million tourists, getting about VND2,450 billion in turnover. Experts consider that tourism resources of Ninh Binh Province are abundant and diversified. To exploit its tourism potentials, Ninh Binh needs linking with tourist centers in the country and invest in infrastructures more. The connection with Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism is an important step in the plan to develop tourism of Ninh Binh Province.

Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, deputy director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, said that the connection in tourism between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Binh is very potential. The difference in natural conditions, culture and tourist products is an interesting feature to tourists. Besides, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is a tourism center of the Southern Central and the Highland, therefore the connection may help Ninh Binh to attract tourists not only from Khanh Hoa but from neighboring provinces.
Travel companies of Khanh Hoa also highly appreciated potentials of Ninh Binh tourism. However, due to the distance and no connection, the number of tourists from Khanh Hoa to Ninh Binh is not much.
Chairwoman of Ninh Binh Province Tourism Association Duong Thi Thanh invited tourism leadership and travel companies of Khanh Hoa to visit and experience tourist products of Ninh Binh Province. Then, the two sides will have more specific discussion and cooperation. As planned, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association will organize a famtrip mission to survey tourism of Ninh Binh Province in early December.
