According to statistics of the National Administration of Tourism, the country received more than 204,000 international cruise tourists for 11 months.

Khanh Hoa is considered as a potential destination for cruise tourists. At present, the provincial Department of Tourism is building a draft amending and supplementing joint regulation on managing tourism operation and business by cruise ships. The new regulation focuses on improving quality of services for visitors traveling by cruise ships.
