Hotels and tourist sites in Nha Trang are preparing cultural and entertainment activities to celebrate the lunar new year festival 2019. From January 28 (the 23rdday of the last lunar month), some tourist sites have set up lunar new year pole with the hope to welcome a peaceful and happy new year. With the aim to keep traditional culture, Champa Island will organize cooking Tet cakes on February 1 (the 27th day of the last lunar month). During Tet, Champa Island will organize a lot of interesting activities like calligraphy, unicorn dance, animal circus, folk games, etc. Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel also will organize glutinous rice cake making festive on January 30 and 31 and buffets of traditional Tet food on February 6 and 7.

Hotels and resorts of Vinpearl in Nha Trang also have a lot of activities for guests. For example, Vinpearl Discovery 2 will organize unicorn dance and give New Year gift for children; Vinpearl Luxury will organize calligraphy, glutinous rice cake making, etc. Visitors to Vinpearl Land will enjoy folk music, see tulips, row kayak, etc.
100-Egg Theme Park will set up a rural market selling Vietnamese food for visitors and organize music programs. Other tourist spots like Hoa Lan Island, Monkey Island, Yang Bay tourist site, etc. also will have a lot of entertainment activities for visitors on this occasion. All big hotels and resorts have buffet parties for guest to celebrate the lunar new year.
Beside familiar tourist destinations, there are some new tourist destinations to be opened on this occasion. From February 1, Galina Lake View in Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang with very beautiful landscape will open. On February 8, Tau Ngam (submarine) tourist site will officially open. Tri Nguyen Aquarium tourist site, renamed as Gravel Island, will have a lot of art program on Tet days. Especially, visitors coming this island also can take water sports games like parasailing, jetskiing, zipline with the longest sea crossing in Vietnam, etc.
With the good preparations, new activities and new destinations, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is expected to a favorite destinations for tourist on the occasion of the coming lunar new year.
