Ha Giang Province organized a tourism promotion conference and an art program in Nha Trang. Photos of Dong Van Geopark, Triangle flower season, etc. and performances of folk cullture, traditional music and costumes of ethnic minority people, etc. on the stage attracted foreign tourists and local people in Nha Trang. “We hope to introduce the beauty of Ha Giang Province and attract more visitors to the province”, said Nguyen Van Son, the Deputy Secretary of Ha Giang Province’s Party Committee and Chairman of Ha Giang Province People’s Committee.
Ha Giang Province has very fantastic natural landscape and age-old culture with 19 ethnic groups. Nho Que River, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Ma Pi Leng Mountain Peak, Dong Van Geopark, Lung Cu Flag Tower, etc lure tourists who like discovery. Besides, Ha Giang Province still preserves unique cultural features like Long Tong festival of Tay people, mysterious fire dance of Pa Then people, Meo Vac market day, etc.

Tu Uyen, from Vietravel, said, “Ha Giang is an interesting destination. Its landscape, culture, cuisine, people of this land is very impressive. Every time when I come to Ha Giang, I always want to stay longer and discover more.”
According to Ha Van Sieu, Vice-chairman of Vietnam National Association of Tourism, Ha Giang has big potential to develop tourism, however, this province need invest more in infrastructures, improve human resource in tourism, build featured tours, intensify tourism promotion, etc. The vice-chairman called tourism businesses in Khanh Hoa Province and other provinces in the Central region to take tourists to Ha Giang. Responding the appeal, 14 tourism businesses in the Central region have signed cooperation agreement with tourism businesses in Ha Giang.
Deputy director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Le Thanh said that with the difference in tourist products, Khanh Hoa Province and Ha Giang Province have potentials in tourism cooperation. Few people in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa know about Ha Giang Province and have desire to discover this land. However, due to the far distance between the two destinations and lack in connection between the two provinces, not many people from Khanh Hoa have visited to Ha Giang Province. She also hopes that the number of visitors from the Central provinces to Ha Giang will be more.
