The April 30, May 1 holiday this year lasts 5 days, therefore, the number of travellers is forecast to be more than previous years. The weather is hot and sunny, coastal destinations like Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa are favorite of many people. Islands in Nha Trang like Vinpearl, Hon Tam, Bai Tranh, Bai Soi, Hoa Lan Stream, Monkey Island, etc. surely attracts visitors.
Despite the sharp increase in visitors, there’s no lack in hotel rooms as Nha Trang has more than 41,000 rooms. Travel companies said booking rooms in Nha Trang was rather easy. According to the provincial Department of Tourism, average room occupation in 3-5 star hotels is 85%; the figure in under-2-star hotels is 65% - 70%.
