Recently, Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee has held a meeting a check contents and progress of the preparations for activities and events in the Sea Festival 2019. Basically, departments, localities and units are doing works on schedule. The provincial Department of Culture and Sports has verified scripts of significant events, including the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony and the two music shows on May 12 and 13. The provincial People’s Committee is considering these scripts. Till April 19, 59 activities were registered to respond to the festival. Along main events, these activities in culture, sports and tourism, conferences, seminars, etc. to promote trade and tourism are expected to diversify the ninth sea festival. Other activities like calling for sponsorship, marketing, service, etc. for the festival are done well.
- How is the marketing for the Sea Festival 2019 going?
In order to popularize activities of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019 to people home and abroad, communications and propaganda have been launched early. The province organized press conference in Hanoi to present detail programs of the festival to the media of the Central as well as localities in the country. On April 26, a press conference took place in Nha Trang for the local media. The province has worked with Vietnam Television (VTV), the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), and some media agencies of the central to broadcast live the opening ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2019 and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019…The closing ceremony and music shows will be broadcast live on Khanh Hoa Television and Radio.
The provincial Department of Culture and Sports has installed banners, panels, light box signs, etc. about the sea festival on streets in Nha Trang…Nha Trang City People’s Committee has been beautifying and cleaning the city. The Department of Transport is repairing Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard. Besides, the province has introduced about the sea featival at domestic and international fairs, to famtrip groups and travel companies, etc.
On the sea festival, there’s a grandstand with 14,000 seats (2,000 seats higher than Sea Festival 2017) for locals and tourists to watch shows as well as fireworks on the opening ceremony.
