Vietjet Air will open Cam Ranh - Busan air route on July 16, said a representative of the air carrier. There will be three flights a week on every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday on Cam Ranh - Busan direction, and four flights a week on every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday on the Busan - Cam Ranh direction. This air route is expected to attract tourists from Southern provinces of Korea to Khanh Hoa Provine.
On December 6, 2017, Vietjet Air opened Cam Ranh – Incheon air route with two flights a day.
According to the provincial Department of Tourism, Korea is the third biggest international tourist market to Khanh Hoa Province, following China and Russia. In 2018, 80,000 Korean tourists visited Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa. In the first two months of 2019, the province welcomed 27,848 Korean visitors, a three-time increase year-on-year.
