9 teams have joined the 2019 Hong Kong-Nha Trang International Yacht Race with the participation of 9 teams, including 100 contestants and crew from the U.S.A, Italy, Singapore and Hong Kong (China).
The race, starting on October 16, is expected to arrive in Nha Trang on October 18-19. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6pm on October 19. The contestants will remain in Nha Trang for a rest and sightseeing before returning to Hong Kong or other countries.
The Hong Kong-Nha Trang International Yacht Race is organized biennially by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in partnership with Saigontourist since 2004. This sport and tourism event aims to promote tourism potentials, contributing to attracting tourists to Nha Trang City in particular and Vietnam in general.
