Vietnam was ranked 10th among “the best countries in the world to visit now” by the Conde Nast Traveler, a prestigious travel magazine.
The results were based on a survey of 600,000 readers' comments about 10,000 destinations, services, hotels and landscape. Accordingly, 4 Southeastern countries in the 10 top list included Indonesia (1st), Thailand (2nd), the Philippines (8th) and Vietnam (10th). Others were Portugal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Peru, Greece and Italy.
Countries ranked from the 11th to 20th included Turkey, Japan, Mexico, Tanzania, Israel, Colombia, New Zealand, Ireland and Croatia.
