Khanh Hoa received 6.5 million tourist arrivals in 11 months of 2019, a year-on-year increase of over 13%, with nearly 3.3 million international arrivals, up by nearly 29%. The tourism turnover was estimated at VND25.000 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%, according to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism.
Tourists from China, Russia and South Korea remained to make up a large proportion in the international travelers to Khanh Hoa. By October 2019, Khanh Hoa received nearly 2.2 million tourist arrivals from China, a year-on-year increase of 38%; 377,500 from Russia, up by nearly 3.5%; and 210,000 from South Korea, up by 257%. Travelers from Western Europe, North America and Australia continued declining with arrivals from Britain, France and Canada down by 8-17% compared with the same period last year.
