The New Zealand Herald Newspaper has just had an article titled “Vietnam holidays: What to do in Nha Trang”, covering must-do activities on the mainland of the pretty coastal city of Nha Trang, including taking a cyclo tour, seeing the Buddhist statue at the Long Son Pagoda, soaking in a mineral mud bath, learning some local folklore and visiting a seriously old Ponagar Temples for true local life experience.

Taking a cyclo tour, it is advisable to “start near the beach and head inland. Be sure to keep a few dong aside to tip your driver.” Visitors are also recommended to visit Long Son Pagoda early in the morning because “Early morning is the best time of day to climb the 150 or so steps to the giant sitting Buddha overlooking the city at the base of Trai Thuy Mountain. The views are worth the hike.”

North of the city, among the city's most prized attractions are the four remaining Ponagar Cham Towers on Cu Lao Mountain, believed to date back to before 781 BC; and Hon Chong Promontory, famous for its granite boulders, one of which is said to feature the handprint of a giant in local folklore.

Especially, experiencing mineral mud bath at I-Resort is among the great things to enjoy and re-energize. “The minerals in the mud will leave your skin moisturized for hours...”
