Flights to Cam Ranh International Airport during Tet have increased by 35% compared with last year, said the leader of Cam Ranh International Airport on January 23.
Accordingly, 240 flights take off and land on the airport every day on average with 250 flights carrying some 180 passengers on a peak day,
"To serve the significant increase in flights, full human labor has been mobilized together with 2 additional security check gates to improve airport check-in and security. We are making suggestions on building Passenger Terminal (T3) at Cam Ranh International Airport," says Nguyen Ba Quan, Director of Cam Ranh International Airport.
