Low room occupation
Green World Hotel, a 4-star one at 44 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nha Trang has reopened since June 27. However, room occupation at this time is very low. Similarly, Nha Trang Horizon Hotel (at 102 Duong Hien Quyen, Nha Trang) has reopened since June 24 but the number of guests is still very small. “We plan to open again in July, 2020, but we opened 1 week earlier as some groups of guests booked rooms. The beachfront hotels on Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang or other long-established brands have more guests. In June, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel (at 18 Tran Phu, Nha Trang) with 201 rooms was occupied with about 35%. Liberty Central Nha Trang Hotel with 227 rooms has room capacity of 35 – 40%...
Until now, the tourists coming to Nha Trang are mainly retail customers and family groups. The number of big groups operated by tour companies is not large. According to the statistics of the provincial Department of Tourism, in June, the province has received 41,500 tourists, including 40,000 domestic tourists.

The number of domestic tourists is expected to increase more from July 15 when students are on vacation. Accommodation businesses need to link more closely with travel companies to create attractive product packages that can compete with similar provinces and cities. Enterprises must strictly follow the motto: "Discounts but not quality reduction. Keeping prices but adding services” to attract visitors.
