According to the management board of Nha Trang tourist pier, stimulating tourism, island tours have attracted tourists now. On weekdays, the pier receives more than 1,000 visitors/day to go to island tours; on weekends, the number of visitors passing the pier is 1,800 - 2,000 passengers/day. Managers of tourist destinations in Nha Trang Bay such as Bai Tranh, Coral Bay, Robinson Island and Mun Island said tourists had begun to return to Nha Trang beach. Recreational services such as scuba diving, water motor, parasailing, glass-bottom boat trips…have reopened. Nguyen Huy Han - General Director of Viet Asian Nha Trang Company said that from the beginning of this week, the company has welcomed about 500 visitors to experience diving in Nha Trang Bay, this number has increased significantly compared to the time after Covid-19. Currently, the company is discounting the price of service packages to stimulate tourism. For example, price of sea walking decreased from VND800,000 to VND560,000; price of scuba diving fell from VND500,000 to VND350,000.

Reopening from June 1, Orchid Island and Monkey Island resorts of Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company receives about 200 visitors a day. Mr. Tran Minh Duc - Deputy Director of Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company said, “In previous years, this time was summer vacation of students; so the number of visitors is very big. This year, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, students are still at school at this time; few people travel now. However, the increase of tourists is a good signal for Vietnam tourism in general and Khanh Hoa tourism in particular.
Also reopening from June 1, Hon Tam welcomes nearly 250 visitors a day. The number of guests staying at Hon Tam is also increasing again. Currently, the room occuapation of this resort has been 40%. Famous tourist spots such as Galina Lake View, Yang Bay Tourist Park and Nha Trang Submarine Tourist Area ... have also reopened to welcome guests.
After the implementation of stimulus programs with many promotions and good quality tourism services, the number of visitors from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang has increased clearly. Mr. Huynh Duc Hoa - Director of Hunky Dory Vietnam Co., Ltd. said, “This week, the company has welcomed nearly 200 guests from Hanoi to our resort. Most of the guests use the 4-day-3-night service package to visit tourist attractions and 5-star hotels. Currently, the company has signed contracts with partners organizing tours combining skill training.”
Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism said, “The program stimulating tourism by Khanh Hoa tourism industry has received positive signals. Many domestic tourism businesses have contacted for cooperation and connection to bring tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in the near future. In the coming week, there will be a famtrip group with the participation of 100 domestic travel businesses coming to survey Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. We believe that, with the policy of stimulating tourism with many promotions and many marketing activities, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism will gradually recover.”
