Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just assigned the Department of Transportation to cooperate with relevant agencies and departments to make a proposal to implement a project on electric buses powered by clean energy for tourist transfer within Nha Trang City.
Earlier, Asia Joint Stock Company had proposed a project on electric buses powered by clean energy to transfer tourists to hotels on Tran Phu, Pham Van Dong, Nguyen Tat Thanh and other streets where large vehicles are banned, meeting demand for traveling on environmentally-friendly vehicles, helping to ease traffic congestions in Nha Trang City.
The project includes 50 eight-seat vehicles with air-conditioning, running on Lithium battery. The total investment is VND30 billion with 30 vehicles invested in the first stage (2020 - 2022). The investment principles include self-build cost calculation and no subsidies.
