According to the provincial Department of Tourism, since Covid-19 appeared, the department has cooperated closely with the Department of Health and related agencies to actively cope with the epidemic, implementing the dual goal of preventing the epidemic and maintaining the economic development. According to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, in July 2020, the Department of Tourism organized a team surveying service quality in some accomodations participating in the tourism stimulus program, including: Muong Thanh Vien Trieu Hotel, Orchid Island, Thap Ba Hot Spring Center, Cam Ranh Riviera Resort and Duyen Ha Resort ... The survey team assessed that businesses have obeyed commitments, and ensured quality of services. After the Covid-19 was controlled, the Department of Tourism continued coordinating with the health sector, the police, and Nha Trang City Department of Culture and Information and Cam Lam district to conduct a survey on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic at 5 hotels and resorts in Nha Trang and Cam Lam. Through the survey, the survet team found that all of them had developed plans and seriously implemented measures to prevent and control the Covid-19.
Recently, the Department of Tourism has also focused on inspecting and monitoring the implementation of tourism stimulus programs, required units participating in the program to ensure service quality as committed: discount but not quality. Up to now, the Department of Tourism and other agencies in the province have not received any complaints from tourism units. Regarding complaints of tourists through the Tourist Support Center, the Department of Tourism has coordinated with business units to solve thoroughly and support tourists.

Many solutions for recovering tourism
Following the success of the first tourism stimulus program in summer 2020, since early September, the Department of Tourism has issued a plan to implement solutions to gradually restore tourism activities after the Covid-19 epidemic, aiming to welcome 350,000 tourists in the fourth quarter of 2020. In particular, the Department of Tourism proposed solutions and tasks to create momentum for tourism recovery, focusing on strengthening promotion along with marketing and building programs and products suitable with new trends.
Currently, the Department of Tourism is coordinating with tourism businesses to organize booths to participate in the Tourism Promotion Festival - Hanoi 2020, and increasing propaganda on media ... to attract domestic customers. At the same time, the department has many activities to prepare for the recovery of the international tourist market; for example, coordinating with Travelshop Vietnam Company - Travelshop Turkey to implement the program "Linking businesses" with the form of B2B online to attract international tourists to Khanh Hoa. From the fourth quarter of 2020, the department will organize "Online Travel Fair" in the form of online exchange and cooperation between tourism service enterprises in the province with associations, corporations and travel businesses around the world. ‘This tourism promotion way is highly interactive, low-cost and suitable for the epidemic situation at present as well as in the coming time', said Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh.
The Department of Tourism is also working with Viettel Khanh Hoa and MecCorp to implement the project "Stimulating international tourist growth based on digital economy and information technology application ". According to the plan, the Department of Tourism will coordinate with Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company and airlines having flight routes connecting to Cam Ranh International Airport to deploy communication and promotion to attract international visitors, restore international routes and prepare for the conference Routes 2023 to be held in Nha Trang.
In the fourth quarter of 2020, Khanh Hoa Tourism Association will hold Food Festival 2020 and National Tourism Conference 2020. Currently, the association has proposed tourism businesses to diversify their tourism products to increase the attraction for Khanh Hoa tourism.
