Regarding this issue, Vu Hong Quang - Deputy Head of Air Transport Department, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said that Khanh Hoa needs to develop a project to welcome international visitors. In which, Russia is the most positive tourist market. Most Russian visitors to Khanh Hoa come from the Far East. They often stay for a long time and move less. Currently, Russia also has a vaccine against Covid-19. Therefore, Khanh Hoa may consider welcoming Russian guests.
In response to this idea, Tran Viet Trung - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism suggested Anex Vietnam Travel and Trading Co., Ltd., Pegas Misr Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd. and Siberia Airlines (S7) coordinate with the provincial Department of Tourism to build projects to welcome Russian visitors. According to Le Van Nghia - representative of Siberia Airlines, the airline is ready to take international flights from Russia to Khanh Hoa with a frequency of one flight a day. Le Thi Hong Minh - General Director of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company also said that the airport is ready to welcome international flights. However, to do this, it is necessary to have close coordination between units from airlines, stations, accommodations, quarantine departments, etc.

The Covid-19 has made visitors tend to search travel information online more, limit communication while traveling and limit cash usage. Luu Hoang Long - Director of corporate customer department of Viettel Khanh Hoa said that in order to recover the tourism market, Khanh Hoa needs to speed up smart tourism, proactively provide information to potential customers and do sales online.
