Khanh Hoa Province welcomed 20,000 tourist arrivals, including 18,900 domestic visitors and 1,100 international ones with the room occupancy of 15% during the 3-day New Year break 2021. The total revenue from tourism industry reached VND34 billion, according to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Deputy Chairperson of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism.
On this occasion, many tourism businesses in Khanh Hoa Province organized tourism promotion programs with many new and appealing product packages. Besides events held by local authorities, 4-5 star accommodation establishments also organized New Year’s Eve galas featuring food, music, games and lot drawing with awards, especially the Vinpearl Countdown Party on Tre Island. Discounts were offered to attract visitors. Yangbay Tourist Park received approximately 1,200 tourists and Nha Trang Thap Ba Hot Spring Center around 500 visitors.

Tours to Hon Mun, Hon Mot and Dong Tam Tourist Site were not allowed due to bad weather (wind scale above level 5), according to Tran Van Phu, Head of Nha Trang Tourist Port.
