Lunar New Year 2021 Food and Tourism Festival is expected to open on Jan.29-31, said the leader of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association on January 7.
The festival will take place at the pedestrian mall beside Muong Thanh Vien Trieu Hotel with 48 booths, including 12 displaying tours, cultural and historical vestiges in Khanh Hoa; 12 featuring local specialties; 12 for Tet traditional folk games; and 12 for agricultural products, craft products, folk souvenirs and items for Tet holiday. Besides, there will be musical shows performed by Hai Dang Band and students from colleges and universities in Khanh Hoa to serve revelers at night.

The festival is to promote local culture and cuisine, meeting residents and visitors’ entertainment and shopping needs before the Lunar New Year; delivering the message of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, a safe, friendly and hospitable destination. Visitors will have an opportunity to taste famous specialties from various regions in Khanh Hoa Province; experience Tet traditional folk games; get details about tour packages at preferential prices; and shop for quality products for Tet at reasonable prices, according to Vo Quang Hoang, Deputy Chairman of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Head of the Lunar New Year 2021 Food and Tourism Festival Organizing Board.
