Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just given approval to Sealife Group Company, Ltd. to pilot operating an overnight tour vessel on Nha Trang Bay upon the proposal of the Department of Tourism. The overnight tour service is expected to run for 12 months as from the operation scheme is approved by the authority.
Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee assigned the Department of Tourism, based on current laws, to collect ideas of Nha Trang City People’s Committee, relevant agencies, departments and local authorities, check and request Sealife Group Company, Ltd. to have an operation plan for the overnight tour vessel on Nha Trang Bay.
The operation is required to meet requirements for performance safety; fire prevention and control; food safety and hygiene; environmental protection, oil spill response, anchorage; corporate responsibilities, etc. The Department of Tourism and relevant departments and agencies have to assess and approve or submit the eligible plan to the Provincial People's Committee for approval before April 15, 2021.

Meanwhile, the Provincial People's Committee assigned Nha Trang City People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Tourism and relevant agencies to review regulations, provide consultancy to build State management coordination regulations for Nha Trang tourism activities, including tourist accommodation vessels.
