The number of tourists taking tours to Nha Trang Bay has increased significantly since April, according to Tran Van Phu, Head of Nha Trang Tourism Port, Nha Trang Bay Management Board on April 15.
Specifically, approximately 1,000 visitors/ day take island tours on weekdays and 1,500 – 2,000 tourists/ day at weekend. Most of them take canoes to Hon Mun and other scenic spots, including Reef Bay, Tranh Beach, Robinson Island, Tam Island, etc.
According to Tran Van Phu, approximately 400 water vessels serve island tours. Tourist canoes have operated at 50% of the capacity compared with that before the Covid-19 pandemic.
