Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism presided over a meeting on June 8 for Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to report the implementation of tasks for the first 6 months of 2021.
Over the past 5 months, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association organized various promotion activities such as the food festival to promote local tourist attractions and in cooperation with Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism welcomed the famtrip to explore tourism. Besides, the association directed its affiliations and members to enhance the implementation of measures against Covid-19; and have plans to develop promotion activities and projects to resume tourism after the pandemic.
At the meeting, the Department of Tourism requested Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to develop membership, improve member management, boost legal propagand and, soon complete the project to improve island tours. The association was also asked to direct enterprises to boost Covid-19 prevention and control; learn specific problems facing tourism businesses and suggest solutions and support to the Provincial People’s Committee and the central Government, etc. The Department of Tourism and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association have approved the enhancement of tourism promotion cooperation, focusing on big events and prevention of illegal trade and competitiveness.
