Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just given approval in principle to the pilot of vaccine passport entry for international visitors on charter flights to Khanh Hoa Province.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism has coordinated with the Department of Health and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to build a detailed plan, collect ideas from local relevant departments and agencies and report to the Provincial Steering Board of Tourism Development before submitting the plan to the Provincial People’s Committee or local authorities for consideration.

The provincial People’s Committee noted the pilot program must be adapted to the latest direction of the Government and central ministries and agencies; developed in a small scale with little affect on local socio-economic development and residents’ life; and in a period suitable to the actual situation of the provincial Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.
International visitors with “vaccine passports” are fully vaccinated with two doses must show vaccination certificates together with negative PT- PCR tests taken 72 hours prior to the departure. Khanh Hoa tourism sector suggested prioritizing marine tourists using self-contained tourism services in tourist sites.
