Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a decision to approve the support for tour guides affected by Covid-19.
Accordingly, administrative procedures for the assistance include 7 steps with step 1 to step 7 taken by the provincial Department of Tourism; and step 6 by the Provincial People’s Committee. The administrative settlement process is within 4 working days from the date of application.

According to the provincial Department of Tourism, there are 1,525 licensed tour guides, including 1,053 international and 472 domestic ones, in Khanh Hoa. Since the resurgence of Covid-19, many tour guides have lost work, especially during the 4th coronavirus wave starting in early May 2021. Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism has submitted 17 applications for assistance for tour guides to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval.
