A tourism link conference between Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City in safe adaption to Covid-19 was held in Nha Trang City on October 21 by Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in partnership with Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. Present at the event were Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and Phan Thi Thang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
The 2 partners agreed to share cooperation experience in the State management of tourism; continue promoting tourism products between Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa; boosting local tourism stimulus activities, etc. Also at the conference, the Department of Tourism and Vietravel signed a memorandum of tourism promotion cooperation.

Speaking at the conference, Le Huu Hoang gave preliminary information about Khanh Hoa socio-economic recovery and development policies, especially the plan to resume tourism in the coming time; and assessed that this is a favorable time for developing the tourism link to restore tourism and hoped that Ho Chi Minh City would promote cooperation link with Khanh Hoa, contributing to creating a "green" road with self-contained tourism link to ensure pandemic prevention and control during the cooperation process.
On this occasion, Phan Thi Thang on behalf of people, cadres and soldiers in Ho Chi Minh City offered Khanh Hoa VND500 million to support Covid-19 response.
