The Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022 is coming very close. In recent days, the number of tourists to Khanh Hoa is quite crowded. Many tourists choose to celebrate the Lunar New Year Festival at resorts in the province.
Many resorts in Bai Dai (Cam Lam) like The Anam, Fusion, Radisson Blu, Movenpick Cam Ranh, Duyen Ha, Cam Ranh Riviera, Selectum Noa, etc., have been fully booked for Tet.. Tran Thi My Dung - Sales and Marketing Manager of The Anam said: “To prevent Covid-19, most tourists are looking for safety and privacy. On this year's Tet holiday, guests tend to book villas rather than hotel rooms, so all resorts in Bai Dai have run out of villa rooms."
Similarly, room capacity in resorts in Nha Trang such as Ana Mandara, Amiana, Hon Tam, Vinpearl and resorts in Ninh Van on Tet holiday 2022 is 90-100%. Meanwhile, hotels in the downtown area of Nha Trang have less bookings up to now. Nguyen Ke Mao - Sales Manager of Muong Thanh Khanh Hoa Hotel said that currently, only 40% of the hotel have been booked. Similarly, the figure at Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel iss also about 40%. Currently, hotels on Tran Phu, Hung Vuong, Biet Thu, Tran Quang Khai, Nguyen Thien Thuat, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai... are hanging signs of room availability. Many hotels even offer big discount with included services to attract tourists.
According to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the provincial Department of Tourism, the number of visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa during the 2022 Lunar New Year festival is quite crowded. Now guests prefer to choose isolated resorts rather than hotels in Nha Trang downtown... However, the number of visitors may increase in the coming days as visitors from neighboring localities such as Lam Dong, Dak Lak, and Phu Yen travelled to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa. Sharing the same opinion, Vo Thi Phuong Nga - Deputy Sales Director of Champa Island Nha Trang Resort believes that the number of retail guests booking late will raise the room capacity of hotels in Nha Trang in the coming days. Champa Island in particular may have room occupation of about 60-70%.
