First visitors to Khanh Hoa in Lunar New Year 2022

Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in cooperation with Cam Ranh International Airport and Vietnam Airlines held a ceremony to welcome the first visitors of the Lunar New Year 2022 to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa on February 1.

 

Present at the event were Le Huu Hoang, Central Party Committee Member, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Department of Tourism; and Pham Minh Nhut, Standing Deputy Chairman of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Association of Tourism together with leaders of Cam Ranh International Airport and representatives of Vietnam Airlines, Nha Trang Branch, Middle Airport Authority at Cam Ranh International Airport and Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company.

 

 

 

The Airlines flight VN1551 departed from Noi Bai International Airport at 6:55 landed at Cam Ranh International Airport at 8: 50.  Upon their arrival, passengers were greeted with flower bouquets, gifts and lucky money. Besides, the first 3 visitors set foot on Khanh Hoa in the lunar new year also received special gifts from Vietnam Airlines.

 

 

 

 

In 2022, Khanh Hoa aims to receive more than 1.2 million tourist arrivals, including 1.6 million domestic tourists and 40,000 international ones, up by 100% compared to the year 2021. The tourism revenue is expected to reach VND4,000 billion, up by 80% compared to the previous year.
