Khanh Hoa tourism during the Lunar New Year Festival was busy. During the 9 days of Tet holiday (from January 29 to February 6), the province welcomed nearly 100,000 guests, with room occupancy reaching more than 72% and total tourism revenue reaching about 524.3 billion VND. However, tourism experts say that the tourism industry needs to make more efforts to keep the recovery momentum. Nguyen Quy Phuong - Director of the Travel Department, General Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that, in the context of the international tourism market just opening, Vietnam's tourism in general and Khanh Hoa tourism in particular still mainly relies on the domestic tourist market. Therefore, the tourism industry needs to strengthen links and cooperation to stimulate domestic market demand. Khanh Hoa needs to link and cooperate with neighboring localities, especially the tourism triangle Khanh Hoa - Lam Dong - Ninh Thuan.

In the coming time, Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism and the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association will discuss with their counterparts in Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan to have a plan to organize larger programs, aiming to the general development of tourism triangle Khanh Hoa - Lam Dong - Ninh Thuan.
