Tourists flocked to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa during the first days of the 2022 Lunar New Year, Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism said on February 4. Khanh Hoa welcomed 65,500 visitor arrivals, including 63,500 domestic and 2,000 international ones from January 31 to February 4, up by 141.7% with an estimated turnover of VND256.4 billion, up by 178.4% compared with last year.
On the third and fourth days of the Lunar New Year, Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang was seen with many visitors' cars. Several hotels and resorts in Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Resort experienced room occupancy of 70-80%, especially from the peak period from the second to the fourth days of the Lunar New Year. Large hotels such as Novatel, Ariyana, Galina, Liberty Central Nha Trang and Muong Thanh Nha Trang in Nha Trang City center also had relatively high occupancy.

During the Tet holiday, leisure travellers visited many tourist destinations. VinWonders Nha Trang welcomed 13,900 visitor arrivals, Ponagar Temples and Hon Chong: 19,000 arrivals. Others places, namely Truong Son Traditional Village, Galina Lake View, I-resort Nha Trang, Orchid Island, Monkey Islands were also packed with tourists during the first 5 days of the Lunar New Year.
