Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has signed a resolution on visa exemption for citizens from 13 countries as before the Covid-19. 
 
The 13 countries include Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the U.K,  North Ireland, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belarus, Japan and South Korea. This is one of he initatives to recover the local tourism industry.
 
Citizens from the countries will be allowed to visit Vietnam for up to 15 days without a visa regardless of passport type and entry purpose. The visa exemption program lasts for 3 years from March 15 to March 14, 2025 and the visa extension will be processed in accordance with the Vietnam law.
