Digital transformation solutions in tourism

Nha Trang Center for Digital Transformation and Technology Application in partnership with Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing (VNITO) Alliance; Army Software Park; and A.Yersin Company held a seminar and an exhibition on digital transformation solutions in tourism themed "Technologies for safe post-Covid-19 tourism" on March 29. Present at the event were Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee together with 300 representatives of information technology companies and tourism businesses.

 

 

 

 

Addressing the event, Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated the organization of the seminar, adding that the province would conduct research and develop programs and projects on digital transformation in the tourism industry; improve legal provisions on e-commerce and online business; promote propaganda to raise awareness about digital transformation, contributing to tourism development in a sustainable way; launch business start-up campaigns, boost technological application in tourism; mobilize resources for digital transformation in tourism; training on the application of digital transformation technology in tourism; enhancing international cooperation in digital transformation in tourism, etc.

 

At the workshop, the delegates discussed technological trends for the tourism industry in 2022; technological solutions for safe travel; technological solutions to reduce costs and increase tourist satisfaction; arising demands during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Also at the event, technology companies introduced some application solutions in tourism such as wellness tourism; safe travel; smart hotels and resorts; hotel and resort automation; solutions to reduce service contact; smart cameras; automatic check-in and so on.
