Khanh Son District People’s Committee held a meeting on April 20 to direct the preparation for the 2022 second Khanh Son Fruit Festival expected to take place at 20-11 Square, To Hap Town, Khanh Son District, Khanh Hoa Province on August 4-7.
The festival is expected to include the display of local fruits, agricultural produces, handicrafts and specilities, a fruit presentation competition, a traditional rattan weaving competition; musical and art shows, featuring traditional festivals of Raglai people in Khanh Son and a workshop on safety and health in agriculture.
The district leader directed relevant agencies, communes and townships to boost propaganda and mobilize residents to prepare agricultural products as well as accommodation to serve visitors; the culture sector to be in charge of cultural and art shows; and propaganda video clips promoting the destination and people of Khanh Son, etc. The press conference for the Fruit Festival is due to open in Nha Trang City on June 28.
