Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has sent documents on the operation direction of tourist destinations to the Departments of Tourism, Health, Culture & sports, Natural Resources & Environment, Industry & Trade, Agriculture & Rural Development; Transport; Information & Telecommunications; Khanh Hoa Public Security and People’s Committees of districts and towns.
Accordingly, local departments, agencies and People's Committees of districts and towns, based on their assigned functions, tasks and management scopes, are responsible for promoting, supporting and providing favorable conditions for tourist sites to operate efficiently while ensuring their compliance to the law and Covid-19 prevention and control guidance. The People's Committees of districts and towns are to make schemes on developing local tourism products adapting to the provincial tourism development orientations and socio-economic growth planning; and ensure the implementation of policies to support community tourism development and improve service quality.
Earlier, the Department of Tourism had conducted a survey in some tourist sites to consider adding them to new tours and tourism programs in the province. The 7 sites include Tram Huong Van Thang Collective in Van Ninh, Ba Vu Mausoleum in Ninh Hoa; traditional village of rice paper wrappers and Suoi Tien Tourist Site in Dien Khanh; Thanh Thao Ecotourism Garden in Cam Lam, Suoi Tien Sheep Field Tourist Site in Cam Ranh and Cultural Longhouse in Khanh Son.
