Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in association with Nha Trang Univesity opened a South Korean language class for 35 tourism staff on September 22. The 2-month class provides basic Korean communication skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in daily life and at work. The class is due to last until November 28. 
 
According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, since reopening to international tourists, Khanh Hoa has seen significant revival of visitors from South Korea. In the 8 months of 2022, Khanh Hoa welcomed 76,285 tourist arrivals from South Korea, accounting for over 60% of international travelers. Khanh Hoa receives approximately 25 flights per week from South Korea to Cam Ranh. 
 
The opening of Korean language classes is to help better serve tourists from the Land of Kimchi.
