In September 2022, Khanh Hoa Province welcomed 280,000 overnight tourist arrivals, including 240,000 domestic visitors and 40,000 international ones with the room occupancy of over 31.7%. The tourism revenue in September hit nearly VND1,321 billion, according to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism on October 2.
In the first 9 months, Khanh Hoa Province exceeded tourism targets in 2022. The number of overnight tourists reached 2.1 million, up by 342.4% compared with the same period last year, exceeding 76.3% of the plan. There were 1.96 million domestic visitors, exceeding 69% of the plan and 155.500 international ones, exceeding 288.8% of the plan. The room occupancy was reported at 26.1% and the tourism revenue
at over VND10,801 billion.

Tourism business are upgrading facilities with new tourist products and services to attract local and international visitors. Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association have joined effort to promote potential tourist markets such as South Korea, India and Southeast Asian countries. Cam Ranh International Airport receives 30 flights/week from South Korea and Thailand. Vietjet has planned to operate 2 flights/ week from Almaty, Kazakhstan as of October 26.
