Khanh Hoa tourism has set a goal to welcome over 4m tourists in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 100%, including 2.5 million locals and 1.5 million international arrivals with a revenue of VND21,000 billion.
Implementing the tasks for 2023, the Department of Tourism leader asked specialized departments and the Center for Tourism Information and Promotion to develop tourism promotion projects and plans. The Department of Tourism will strengthen coordination with Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, localities and related departments, agencies and businesses to boost tourism propaganda, strengthen digital transformation in management and orientation to build high-quality tourism products to attract visitors to Khanh Hoa.
According to the Department of Tourism, currently, the province has more than 1,148 tourist accommodation establishments with more than 55,000 rooms, including 102 establishments at 3-5 star standards with more than 24,300 rooms. (accounting for nearly 48%). The province has 166 tour operators, including 132 international and 34 domestic ones. Many international travel businesses have resumed operation after a long period of closure due to Covid-19 pandemic.
