Nha Trang City has just issued Regulations on cooperation in ensuring safety and social security for tourism activities, according to Nguyen Sy Khanh, Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee on February 12.
Local agencies and People’s Committees of communes and wards take responsibility to maintain close cooperation in ensuring social safety and security in tourism activities; and giving guidelines to accommodation, travel and tour businesses and tourist sites.

The city Public Security is required to take the initiative to update the latest local and world news; make reports on social security of tourist businesses to the City Department of Culture and Information; together with the People's Committees of communes and wards promptly inform tourism staff of the regulations for joint effort in maintaining security and order in the locality.
Besides, agencies and authorities in Nha Trang City are required to launch the “All people involve in protecting national sovereignty and border security” campaign to boost cooperation in modernizing tourism management and tackling problems faced by tourists in an effort to keep the tourism environment safe and sustainable.
