Experience rustic tourism in southern Van Phong

During the past time, many domestic and foreign tourists have come to rural areas and coastal fishing villages of southern Van Phong (in Ninh Hoa town) to mingle with the daily rustic life of farmers and salt workers such as carrying salt in Hon Khoi salt field, casting a fishing net, fishing with fishermen...

Ninh Quoc Dat - Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Club of Ninh Hoa town is one of the founders of southern Van Phong rustic tour. He shared, as a local person growing up on the land of Ninh Hoa, he always wants his hometown to prosper, especially the lives of local people to be improved. He realized that his hometown has a lot of potentials for tourism development, many rural areas and coastal villages still have wild features, beautiful scenery, and delicious specialties. Therefore, he and some associates contacted the local authority, youth unions of communes and wards... to design tours to discover and experience rustic things, based on daily work of local people. Operating the tour, he desired that local people directly benefit from tourism activities, and their lives are improved. After completing the procedures, the tour to experience the rustic life in Nam Van Phong village has been in operation since March. The tour has left many impressions on tourists.

Directly experiencing the tour, for the first time Hoang Van Khiem (Hanoi City) was able to climb trees to pick coconuts and enjoy them at the garden; together with farmers to harvest vegetables, experience the stages of salt making in Hon Khoi salt fields; catching handcuffs, fishing at night with fishermen from the sea village… "Immersing yourself in the rustic life with the gentle, simple and enthusiastic people in Ninh Hoa town is a memorable and wonderful experience for everyone. I will bring my children back to Ninh Hoa to see and experience the hard work of farmers, salt farmers, and fishermen.” Khiem shared.

According to Ninh Quoc Dat, at present, the Young Entrepreneurs Club of Ninh Hoa Town is developing more Ninh Hoa heritage tours, and bringing visitors to enjoy special dishes, thereby contributing to promoting the tourism, history, culture, land and people of Ninh Hoa, preserving traditional occupations and increasing income for local authorities and people through tourism activities.
