Vinpearl submarine service on Nha Trang Bay extended till Jul. 2024

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has approved extending the pilot operation of Vinpearl submarine service by Vinpearl Joint Stock Company on Nha Trang Bay till July 2024.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport to preside over and cooperate with the Ministry of National Defense, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and relevant agencies to ensure the submarine service in accordance with national security and relevant regulations. Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and relevant agencies take responsibilities to assure the service safety.

Reportedly, Vinpearl Joint Stock uses Deep View DV100 - 24 submarine by Triton Submarines (US) to serve tourists. DeepView24 submarine is designed to take 24 passengers and 2 crew with a maximum speed of 3 mikes/hour or 5.5 km/hour.
