Khanh Hoa receives more than 152,900 visitors during National Day holidays

Khanh Hoa Province has been estimated to receive more than 152,900 visitors during National Day holidays 2023, from September 1 to 4 with revenue from tourists reaching VND662 billion, according to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism.

About 35 domestic flights and 23 international flights arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport each day from August 31 to September 4. The railway industry also ran more trains to serve high demand during the holidays.

As reported, the number of visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa during National Day holidays 2023 increased slightly, mainly on September 1 and 2. Resorts in Bai Dai area and on islands enjoyed over 90% occupancy; Nha Trang City was over 70%.

During the four-day holiday, Khanh Hoa saw an increase of 12.5% of visitors compared to the same period last year with more than 152,900 visitors including 23,450 international visitors (up by 263.3%) and more than 129,450 domestic visitors (increasing by 0.2%). Room occupancy reached 67.8%. Total revenue from tourists was VND662 billion, rising by 14.9% compared to last year's holidays.
