National Holiday brings tourist boom for Nha Trang

A large number of tourists flocked to Nha Trang on September 2, taking Nha Trang Bay tours to Bai Tranh Island, Con Se Tre Island, Reef Bay and sightseeing tours to attractions in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa.

As many as 6,500 tourists taking island tours were recorded on September 2 and 3,500 on September 1. Other tourist spots such as the Museum of Oceanography and Ponagar Temples received a remarkable surge in visitors, more than 4,600 on September 2.

Tourists pose for photos at Ponagar Temples. However, the tourist numbers are still lower than in the peak tourism periods. Visitors taking island tours and to Ponagar Temples are 80% and 60% respectively compared with the summer peak season.
