On the first day of the Year of the Dragon 2024 or February 10, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietnam Airlines branch in Nha Trang and Cam Ranh International Airport to welcome the first flight to Khanh Hoa Province.
Present at the event were Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of the Department of Tourism, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Association of Tourism and representatives of local agencies and departments.

The flight No.VN1340 carrying over 100 passengers from Ho Chi Minh City landed at Cam Ranh International Airport at 8 am on February 10. The welcome event included etiquettes with unicorn dance and souvenirs offered to the first 3 passengers.
Reportedly, there will be 1,135 flights arriving at and departing from Cam Ranh International Airport during the Lunar New Year Holiday. They include 550 domestic flights with 90.000 travelers and 585 international flights with about 98,357 passengers. There will be about 20 flights/day from China, 18-19 flights/day from Korea, 1 flight/day from Kazakhstan... to Cam Ranh.
