Wrapping and cooking traditional glutinous rice cakes

Champa Island Nha Trang celebrated the 2024 Lunar New Year with cooking traditional Vietnamese glutinous rice cakes known as Tet cakes on February 3 or the 24th day of the last lunar month of 2023.

Joining the program, visitors could experience wrapping the traditional cakes with instructions given by experienced cooks. All ingredients, including rice, green beans, pork and banana leaves, etc. were available prepared by Champa Island Nha Trang.

Many young people join the Tet cake-wrapping day.
International tourists try wrapping traditional cakes.

This year, the resort prepared 500 cakes, mostly for the poor and kids at orphanages and some given to tourists.
