Vietnamese Tapioca dumplings: one of world's tastiest dumplings

CNN has announced its list of the world’s tastiest dumplings. They included Vietnamese tapioca dumplings or banh bot loc, Hong Kong-style shrimp wonton; Germany’s kartoffelknoedel or potato dumplings; Tangyuan, a Chinese dessert – sticky balls, Ravioli del plin (Italy), Coxinha (Brazil), Siomay (Indonesia), etc.

Vietnamese Tapioca dumplings are pork and shrimp dumplings, with wrappers made from tapioca flour which becomes translucent when cooked, giving the dumpling its appearance and the wrapper its chewy texture. Tapioca dumplings are wrapped in banana leaves and steamed, or boiled. It can be served with sweet chili fish sauce.
