Lobster Festival to be first held on Aug. 3-11

Cam Ranh City People's Committee held a press conference on July 28 to announce the 2024 Cam Ranh Lobster Festival themed "Bright Blue Bay".

The Organizing Board of the 2024 Cam Ranh Lobster Festival presents thank-you flowers to sponsors.

The festival is scheduled to take place on August 3-11 with many interesting activities and art shows, including the opening night at 8 pm on August 9. Other activities include a culinary festival and exhibition connecting trade in lobster, seafood and OCOP products; Cam Ranh lobster culinary contest and setting a Vietnamese record of "120 dishes made from Cam Ranh lobster"; a basket boat race; a floral car and bicycle parade, etc. 

Especially, the festival will welcome the presence of Miss Ngoc Diem (Miss Vietnam Tourism 2008, native place in Cam Ranh) as the festival ambassador.

The 2024 Cam Ranh Lobster Festival is an opportunity for Cam Ranh City to promote its famous lobster products, connect trade, and promote the city's economic and tourism potentials and strengths, contributing to the implementation of the goal of developing Cam Ranh City to become a tourism - logistics urban area pursuant to Resolution No. 09 by the Politburo on construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province to 2030 vision to 2045. Approximately 40,000 visitors are expected to take part in the 8-day festival.
